Jatiwangi: An Emerging Industrial Center for Global Manufacturing

Located in the southern part of the REBANA area, close to the Butom Industrial Development Area (KPI) and Kertajati KPI, and situated in Jatiwangi District.

Basic Infrastructure

• Water Supply: The total water supply capacity in Majalengka Regency is 140 liters/sec, with an alternative water source from the Jatigede Reservoir with a capacity of 1,500 liters/sec.
• Wastewater: The existing Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPLT) capacity in Majalengka Regency is 315 m³/day.
• Solid Waste: Solid waste transport capacity in Majalengka Regency is 67 m³/day, and Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) capacity is 1,040 m³/day. This is supported by the development of the Ciayumajakuning Regional Final Waste Treatment Facility (TPPAS).
• Electricity: Supplied through the planned construction of 3 switching substations in the Cirebon-Patimban-Kertajati Area, alongside the construction of a power plant with a capacity of 500 kV / 2 units.

Transportation Infrastructure

• Passed through by the Sumedang–Cirebon National Road section.
• Passed through by the Jatitujuh–Pekandangan and Kadipaten–Jatibarang Provincial Road sections.
• Connected to the Cipali Toll Road and the Palikanci Toll Road.
• Access to Indramayu Regency is supported by the planned construction of the Jatibarang–Indramayu railway line.

Key Attractions

• Strategically located in very close proximity to the West Java International Airport (BIJB Kertajati) and the planned Kertajati Aerocity.
• Situated near Mount Ciremai, the highest peak in West Java, providing a naturally cool climate and scenic views.
• There are no land limitations, allowing for maximized future development.
• The Minimum Wage (UMK) in Majalengka Regency is IDR 2,009,000, which is lower than the REBANA area average, ensuring competitive labor costs.
• There are 55 Vocational High Schools (SMK) and 6 higher education institutions offering study programs relevant to industrial development, such as aviation; chemical engineering & industrial chemistry; mechanical, automotive & electronics; agribusiness & agrotechnology; and textiles.
