Overview
The Kertajati Industrial Development Area (KPI), located in Kertajati District, Majalengka Regency, is one of the primary growth poles in the Cirebon-Patimban-Kertajati Area, driven by the presence of the West Java International Airport (BIJB Kertajati).
Basic Infrastructure
- Water Supply: The total water supply capacity in Majalengka Regency is 140 liters/sec. Alternative sources include the Jatigede Reservoir with a capacity of 1,500 liters/sec and the Cipanas Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) at 850 liters/sec.
- Wastewater: The existing Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPLT) capacity in Majalengka Regency is 315 m³/day. This is complemented by the construction of a waste management facility in the aerotropolis area in collaboration with PT Waskita Karya.
- Solid Waste: Solid waste transport capacity in Majalengka Regency is 67 m³/day, and Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) capacity is 1,040 m³/day. This is supported by the development of the Ciayumajakuning Regional Final Waste Treatment Facility (TPPAS) and the construction of an incinerator facility by PT Waskita Karya.
- Electricity: Supplied through the planned construction of 3 switching substations in the Cirebon-Patimban-Kertajati Area, alongside the construction of a power plant with a capacity of 500 kV / 2 units.
Transportation Infrastructure
- Located within the aerotropolis area, providing the most direct access to BIJB Kertajati.
- Connected to the Cipali Toll Road and the Cisumdawu Toll Road (further supported by the construction of the Cisumdawu toll flyover).
- Passed through by the Jakarta-Surabaya semi-high-speed railway line and the planned Tanjungsari–Arjawinangun railway line.
- Planned construction of the Kertajati-Patimban logistics railway line.
Key Attractions
- Situated extremely close to BIJB Kertajati, which will serve as West Java's main airport, making it a highly ideal location for export-import activities.
- Ready-to-build land developed by PT. Dwipapuri Abadi is already available, and the Kertajati Aerocity will soon be developed by PT. BIJB.
- The Minimum Wage (UMK) for Majalengka is IDR 2,009,000, which is below the REBANA area average of IDR 2.44 million, offering highly competitive labor costs.
