Patimban: Primary Logistics Hub and Export Gateway of West Java

The Patimban Industrial Development Area (KPI) is located in Pusakanagara District, in the northern part of Subang Regency. It will be developed as a central logistics and freight traffic hub for industries in West Java.

Basic Infrastructure

• Water Supply: Sourced from the Pusakanagara unit with a capacity of 5.7 liters/sec, with an alternative source from the planned development of the District Capital Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM IKK) located in Patimban, Subang Regency.
• Wastewater: The Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPLT) capacity in Subang Regency is 17 m³/day.
• Solid Waste: Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) capacity in Subang Regency is 1,200 m³/day and a transport capacity of 300 m³/day. There are 2 Final Disposal Sites (TPA) located in Panembong, Subang Regency, alongside the planned construction of the Patimban Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST) in Pusakanagara District.
• Electricity: Supplied through the planned construction of 3 switching substations in the Cirebon-Patimban-Kertajati Area, alongside the construction of a power plant with a capacity of 500 kV / 2 units.

Transportation Infrastructure

• Roads: Connected to national roads on the Pamanukan City border – Sewo section, and provincial roads on the Subang – Pagaden – Pamanukan section. Also accessible via the planned widening of the Patrol – Haurgeulis – Bantarwaru road (a proposal by the West Java Regional Development Planning Agency / BAPPEDA Jabar that is still under review). Toll access will be provided by the planned 37.7 km Patimban access toll road, with construction slated for June 2021 and an initial operational target of early 2023.
• Railways: Connected to the Jakarta – Surabaya railway access via the Cikampek – Cirebon City and Cirebon Regency lines.

Key Attractions

• Presence of Patimban Port, which is poised to replace Tanjung Priok Port as the main gateway for freight traffic in West Java. With a capacity reaching 7.5 million TEUs, it is exceptionally well-suited for export-oriented industries.
• Ready-to-build industrial estates developed by PT. Barito Pacific are already available, alongside the planned development of the Patimban Maritime City surrounding the port area.
• Possesses abundant potential in agriculture, plantations, and forestry.
• There are 92 Vocational High Schools (SMK) and 7 higher education institutions, including the Agro-industry Polytechnic in Subang Regency. Available vocational study programs include mechanical & automotive engineering, agro-industry, and computer & networking.
