Overview

The Patrol Industrial Development Area (KPI) is located in Patrol District and its surroundings, on the northern coast of the Java Sea, directly bordering Pusakanagara District, which is the location of Patimban Port.

Basic Infrastructure

  • Water Supply: Alternative water sources from the Jatigede Reservoir with a capacity of 1,500 liters/sec, the Sadawarna Reservoir with a capacity of 2,000 liters/sec, and the Cipanas Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) at 850 liters/sec.
  • Wastewater: The existing Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPLT) capacity in Indramayu Regency is 3,640 m³/day.
  • Solid Waste: Solid waste transport capacity in Indramayu Regency is 283 m³/day, and Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) capacity is 1,240 m³/day, supported by the development of the Ciayumajakuning Regional Final Waste Treatment Facility (TPPAS).
  • Electricity: Supplied through the planned construction of 3 switching substations in the Cirebon-Patimban-Kertajati Area, alongside the construction of a power plant with a capacity of 500 kV / 2 units.

Transportation Infrastructure

  • Located in the Patimban Port Area with access to Patimban via the Patimban Access Road.
  • Passed through by the Sewo – Lohbener National Road section and the Subang – Patrol Provincial Road section.
  • Connectivity to the Cipali Toll Road via the construction of the Patrol – Gantar (written as Gantral in source) Toll Road.

Key Attractions

  • Situated directly adjacent to Patimban Port.
  • The area houses a power plant owned by PT. PLN with a capacity of 3 x 330 MW, which is sufficient to meet the electricity needs of the KPI. There is also an oil refinery owned by PT. Pertamina, an LPG refinery (LPG Mundu VI), and an agglomeration of chemical and oil & gas industries in Indramayu.
  • The Minimum Wage (UMK) for Indramayu is IDR 2,373,073, which is below the REBANA area average of IDR 2.44 million, ensuring competitive labor costs.
  • No land use limitations; adaptable for any type of industrial development.
  • Possesses abundant and distinct potential in agriculture, chemicals, and mining. Fish production in Indramayu Regency contributes up to 40% of the total fish production in West Java.
  • There are 55 Vocational High Schools (SMK) and 8 higher education institutions offering study programs relevant to industrial development, such as chemical engineering; geology & mining; mechanical, automotive & electronics; agribusiness & agrotechnology; and marine nautics.
